Hey guys, Jade here! No, I'm not coming back to deviantART. But I thought that the few of you who are still here might want to know about this. I'll be straight to the point: Withering Hope is being revamped so the characters aren't YouTubers anymore! Yes, it's a bit weird to start a revamp of a 5-year-old story this close to the end, but I feel like this development has been long overdue. For years, I have been very uncomfortable with YouTuber fanfiction. I believe this was a huge contributor to my writer's block. Those of you who have been keeping up with this story for a while can attest to the long, long hiatuses (some even lasting more than a year). I tried to power through, which is how a bunch of chapters was released in the past few months, but I reached a point where I felt little to no excitement with each update.
